If you just need a cleaning with no real issues I feel like this place would be perfectly fine… I want to leave 3 stars but I’m leaving 4 just because I hate to damper a businesses reviews but also feel like this should be brought to light as well… I liked the dentist and staff just fine; they were friendly and kind but I feel like this place is some what dishonest & or there needs to be better communication and staff willing to work to help patients as much as possible with cost - I went for a cleaning after a long hiatus and had a few issues to address. The total bill was almost $5,000 and that was with insurance - I asked the cost to handle one of the issues plus a deep cleaning and it was still over 2,000 - for one crown and the deep cleaning - I just couldn’t swing that and got a second opinion. Went to another dentist - they did new X-rays at no cost, even tho I shared with them the ones from here- dentist agreed the one tooth needed a crown and deep cleaning but the other work was not needed and the price was $800 less for The same work…. I just don’t underhand why it would have been such a price difference…. Families can’t afford to pay their bills…. This is exactly why I went so long between cleanings because I feel like there are so many dishonest practices out there… and or ones pushing things not needed and or with inflated prices. I hope they aren’t doing this and it’s just a practices differences - but I was really disappointed - and hate to leave bad reviews but think everyone needs to do their due diligence and get second opinions.

I had a tooth abscess and was lucky enough to come across Dental Excellence in Woodstock. Unfortunately the tooth couldn’t be saved but the care and concern from the whole staff was so positive. First off, the place is unbelievably spotless. I was given options on treatment going forward with the reassurance that “removing a tooth is the last thing they want to do”. I have been back there more times since my initial visit in Nov ‘24 and each time is like my first visit making me feel relaxed and comfortable. Today I had another tooth removed and replaced with another that was a perfect fit. They use state of the art laser technology to measure your replacement tooth correctly. They really care and take their time with you. Dr Bahramian and her staff are excellent. They deserve more than 5 stars. If you are searching for a dentist that will make you feel comfortable and at ease look no further. Best decision I’ve made in awhile and I’m 66 years old!

They informed me that I had 7 cavities—definitely not something anyone wants to hear—but they were so gentle and compassionate about it. They created a thoughtful plan focused on making me as comfortable as possible. I just started seeing Dental Excellence of Woodstock not to long ago. My first visit was just a check-up as I had a filling knocked out during a surgery. They were very patient with me as I have a terrible gag reflect. They gave me a dental plan to get back on a routine dental cleaning and get a crown to fix the hole in my tooth. Today, I went back to get my temporary crown and they were amazing and made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. They worked very carefully to remove the old cap without damaging the bad tooth so it could hold the new cap in place. The new cap is beautiful and fit perfectly. Our visit to Dental Excellence of Woodstock today was off the charts! The place is clean, the equipment modern and the staff courteous; but the professional services made our three-hour trip worth every minute of it! For my wife, Ms. Marina was wonderful handling her teeth’s X-rays and Dr. Monica Tran did an excellent filling of the space between the upper front teeth! We’re going on a European trip in a couple of weeks and my wife could not be happier with how the filling turned out! She said the filling feels natural and smooth and it makes her day! For me, Ms. Hannah’s magic with the scanner gave me a clear, enlarged, and realistic view of my gums and teeth, a wonderful, first timer for me! Then I had the best cleaning done ever, performed by Dr. Monica Tran! She was very thorough removing the plaques off my teeth. She also talked to me about my dry-mouth and the seriousness of my grinding of my teeth and what to do about it. Dr. Bharamian was also so nice and friendly. We’re scheduled for follow up work in early October and can’t wait to be back! What a wonderful place!
